Let It Snow

Yesterday evening RNG stocked up on a few basics that we were missing including salt which we ran out of in January when there was all that snow and I remember standing staring at the empty salt shelves in Tesco being completely baffled by the lack of salt (we had recently come back from Italy and missed the worst of the chaos). I could not figure out where all the salt had disappeared to and was beginning to picture a Ghandi-like man leading people to the back warehouse of Tesco where they were hiding the salt when a man told me "it's all gone on the roads". Mystery solved! This time I have no intention of getting caught out in my cooking.

Today I bought an electric extension cord so that the fan heater can reach and heat the bathroom, I bought a shovel for RNG to keep in the car and I bought a sledge - I would hate PLB to miss out on all the sledging fun.

So now we are ready for snow... Well almost I need to buy PLB a snow suit as I am currently keeping him in the pushchair wrapped in blankets but that is no fun!
